Hi there! I’m Zobia (ZOH-BEE-AH) and I build things that the internet gets to witness (some good, some great, some maybe not so great) and am known for doing a bunch of other things out in the real world too! Being a life long learner and someone whose goal is to fearlessly throw myself into anything that remotely appeals to me is pretty much the way I live.

Some things I do include web design and development through my business Built by Z, business coaching, headhunting and hiring engineers / product managers / designers for some interesting companies, blogging, and digital marketing.

Some things I do out in the real world include standup comedy (out in NYC), traveling (domestically and hopefully internationally this year), pageants like the Miss NJ USA 2021 and Miss NJ USA 2023, and speaking (at events, conferences, and workshops).

This is my internet home and I’ll showcase a lot of my work and projects here, but I also hope to share some personal stories and hope to inspire you to live to your potential and find your own fearless path!
